Adding Capability: CGC Adds Brian Devine as Director of Legal Operations

Councill, Gunnemann & Chally welcomes Brian Devine to the firm.

Brian has twenty years’ experience supporting all aspects of complex litigation practice. Brian has particular expertise in applying technology solutions to large, complex litigation matters, in case management and planning, in data analytics, and in trial support.

Prior to joining Councill, Gunnemann & Chally, Brian was the Litigation Support Manager for a sophisticated nation-wide litigation practice and provided eDiscovery and Litigation Support at a full service, international law firm. In these positions, Brian supported all aspects of litigation support and, as Litigation Support Manager, managed other litigation support employees. Brian also previously worked with several of the firm’s attorneys before Councill, Gunnemann & Chally was formed.

Brian’s addition to the firm helps Councill, Gunnemann, & Chally effect efficient and technology forward solutions to our litigation strategy on behalf of clients. Said firm partner, Josh Gunnemann, of Brian’s decision to join CGC, “Brian has fantastic experience in eDiscovery and litigation management. Brian will help us ensure innovative and efficient approaches to our litigation practice. Our clients understand we bring first-chair trial experience to their matters. Brian’s trial experience, and his familiarity with complex matters generally, furthers our ability to prepare every case to win at trial.”

Partner Jon Chally added, “Brian’s addition expands on our core objective:  to handle the most sophisticated litigation efficiently and to make top-flight legal talent and experience available to clients ranging from large, international corporations to individuals. Brian is not only supremely talented, but he is a friend and former colleague.  He is a great addition to our team, and we are lucky to have him.”
