Jennifer represents clients in complex commercial litigation and class action disputes. Her practice focuses on representing clients in class and individual actions brought under state and federal privacy and consumer protection statutes.  Jennifer also has extensive commercial litigation experience ranging from federal securities actions to contract disputes to business torts.  

Jennifer has experience representing clients in the financial services, healthcare, retail and manufacturing sectors, among others.

Prior to joining Councill, Gunnemann & Chally, Jennifer litigated at an AmLaw 25 firm, a boutique Atlanta litigation firm, and clerked for the Honorable Judge Orinda D. Evans of the Northern District of Georgia. Jennifer graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law, Order of the Coif, where she served as Notes Editor on the Georgia Law Review.

Representative Experience

  • Secured full defense verdict in a one-week jury trial on an employment agreement between a financial advisor and his former firm.

  • Successfully obtained dismissal of all claims for company in employment discrimination action.

  • Representation of one of the country’s largest manufacturers of building and paper products in defense of multiple products liability class actions.

  • Successfully opposed appeal to the Georgia Supreme Court resulting in denial of writ of certiorari.

  • Representation in multiple actions under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 alleging violations of various provisions of the Bill of Rights.

  • Representation of financial services company in arbitration proceedings.
