Corporate Investigations

We conduct internal investigations into accounting fraud and other corporate malfeasance.

Clients turn to us when they need experienced, independent counsel to conduct internal investigations. We have more than thirty-five years’ experience conducting internal investigations into various forms of corporate malfeasance and other issues. Our attorneys include the former Branch Chief in the Securities and Exchange Commission's Enforcement Division in Atlanta, and all of our attorneys have significant investigative experience.

We have conducted internal investigations on behalf of financial firms, Fortune 50 companies, private companies, non-profit organizations, and numerous audit or special committees. The subjects of these investigations include fraudulent accounting, embezzlement, stock option backdating, and securities sales practice issues.

Clients turn to us because of our track record of conducting effective and reliable investigations. We know how to build an investigative record that can be relied upon by the company or, where appropriate, outside auditors or government investigators. If resolving an investigation on favorable terms is not possible, then we have the stand up experience necessary to defend our clients in court or other tribunals, advocating effectively on their behalf.
