Three Councill, Gunnemann & Chally, LLC Partners Named to the 2027 Georgia Super Lawyers List

Councill, Gunnemann & Chally, LLC is proud to announce that three of its partners, Jonathan R. Chally, Katherine D’Ambrosio and Stephen D. Councill, have been selected to the 2027 Georgia Super Lawyers list.

Super Lawyers rates attorneys across the state using a patented multiphase process that combines peer nominations, independent research, and peer evaluation. Candidates are evaluated against twelve indicators of professional achievement — from verdicts and settlements to bar activity and peer recognition — before top-scoring attorneys are rated by their peers on blue ribbon panels within their practice areas. No more than five percent of attorneys in Georgia earn this distinction in a given year.

Jonathan R. Chally, Partner
This marks Jon’s fourth consecutive year on the Georgia Super Lawyers list; he was previously named a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Jon is a commercial litigator with extensive first-chair trial and arbitration experience representing multinational corporations, small businesses and individuals in high-stakes disputes, particularly those involving corporate transactions and consumer class actions.

Katherine D’Ambrosio, Partner
Kadie is a litigator representing businesses and individuals in complex civil litigation and appeals in federal and state courts, with a practice spanning federal class actions, financial company litigation, and governmental and internal investigations. Before joining CGC, she practiced at boutique and international law firms and clerked for judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Alaska Supreme Court.

Stephen D. Councill, Partner
This marks Steve’s 15th consecutive year on the Georgia Super Lawyers list; he has been selected every year since 2013. Steve is a former SEC staff attorney who investigated securities fraud and was promoted to Branch Chief before entering private practice. He now represents investors victimized by securities fraud and regularly advises investment advisers, banks, broker-dealers, and other financial services organizations on compliance and regulatory matters.
